Lucas Thornton is a certified physician assistant. In 2007, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas Tech University, graduating with Honors. He then earned a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, which included 8 six-week rotations in primary care and 2 rural rotations focused on the medically underserved.
His years of professional experience as an orthopedic physician assistant includes assisting in both the clinical and surgical setting at Little River Healthcare as well as Austin Ortho & Sports Medicine, both focused on providing orthopedic support and care to patients. Lucas is also affiliated with the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
In his free time, Lucas enjoys chasing his three children, mountain biking, and barbecuing.
